Ul'rursh looks over a desolate land, where the crops have withered long ago. "When hard times come, they come unexpectedly. In such times, you need somewhere to turn to. The Marketplace is open all day and night, so no matter how dire your circumstances the Marketplace will be able to help. Goods are bought via Credits in the Marketplace, and these can be bought from the Marketplace too.
Just look for the Buy Now sign."
"If you look to the top of the Marketplace, you will see there are three white boxes lined together." He indicates with his hands.
"On the Essentials page you can purchase Emergency Supplies, Membership Plans and also transfer Credits to fellow citizens of Bloodgard.
If you want to pass Credits on to a friend or are paying for something on the sly, on the same page at the bottom, you can transfer Credits. Type in the amount you wish to send and pick out the one you wish to send to from the drop-down menu." He holds out his hand at the Transfer box "It is as simple as that."
"Finally, the Membership Plans on this sheet allow you to subscribe to special features on a monthly basis. The mentioned fee (in credits) is deducted from your account every 3 days if you have purchased a Membership Plan. If you do not have sufficient credits to pay for the Membership Plan for the upcoming turn, then it is cancelled automatically."
"On the Relics page," he stops a moment and then continues with renewed vigour, "you can purchase Relics. Tick the relevant box and click on Purchase Selected Relic(s) when you are happy with yours election. Relics can be used to provide a set of temporary bonuses to your settlement and are normally acquired through land exploration expeditions. If you buy a Buff-type relic, the duration of the buff is multiplied by 3 times when you activate the relic. For example, say you discover a Buff through a land exploration expedition which has a duration of 10 hours. If you instead buy this Relic from the Marketplace, the duration of the buff will now be 30 hours! Do remember that purchased relics are always activated prior to any discovered relics, so if you have 2 discovered relics of a given type, and another purchased relic of the same type and you chose to activate the relic, the purchased relic will be activated first."
"The same procedure applies for the Artifacts sheet, the only difference being that the duration of the purchased Artifacts is not extended, and Artifacts are limited in quantity so if all instances of a particular Artifact have been discovered or purchased, it will no longer appear in the Marketplace. Do note that only a few selected Relics and Artifacts are displayed in the Marketplace."
"More about Artifacts later, I think it's worthwhile to take a small look into Relics."
